Kyle left us on Angel’s wings February 6, 2013. He leaves behind a large, loving circle of family and friends who are devastated by his loss, but rejoicing in the knowledge that he is now with our Savior. He was a young man with a great sense of pride, compassion, humor and character. Although his life was cut short at just 24 years, Kyle made an indelible mark on this world and will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Kyle was born April 26, 1988. He attended Cascade Christian Elementary and graduated from Emerald Ridge High School in 2006. Kyle then attended Arizona State University for three years on an academic scholarship and was working on completing his college education. Kyle loved playing basketball, working out, going to the movies, cooking, playing with his cousins, hanging out with his friends and spending time with his family. He is survived by his parents, Joe and Jo Ann (Zenner) Gossler, his older brother Derek, his grandparents, Pete Zenner of Nezperce, Idaho and Jean Gossler of Keizer, Oregon. Kyle has a large extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins, all of whom he was very close to. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claire Zenner of Nezperce, Idaho, and Henry Gossler of Seattle, Washington. We, his family, would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA and especially the ICU team & respiratory therapists, who gave Kyle such amazing care. We will never forget the empathy and care for which Kyle received. We will always love you Kyle - Mom, Dad and Derek. We will always carry a part of you wherever we are. You are forever in our precious memories. We know the angels will take very good care of you. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 16, 2013, 9:00 A.M. at Calvary Community Church in Sumner, Washington. Graveside service will immediately follow at the Sumner Cemetery, proceeded by a reception at Calvary Community Church.
Memorials may be made to the Mel Korum YMCA in Puyallup where Kyle loved his “noon hoops”, in care of Kyle and the Strong Kids Campaign. Arrangements by Curnow Funeral Home, Sumner.
